How it works
Select your microphone
Choose which mic to test from the dropdown - system mic, headset, or USB microphone.
Click Start Test
Allow browser access when prompted. This is required to access your microphone.
Speak or make noise
Watch the audio level bar respond. Green means your mic is picking up sound.
When to test your microphone
Before video calls

New headset or mic
Just plugged in new hardware? Verify it's detected and working.
